Sponsor Spotlight: Qbaum Remodeling
This month, Stroll inside the Gates spotlights Qbaum Remodeling LLC. From kitchen remodels to bathroom makeovers and everything in between, Qbaum is here to bring your vision to life.
Koale Quattlebaum founded Qbaum . Koale has been in construction since the age of 16. “It was a family business,” recounts Koale. “I first started out traveling the country and working on commercial tile work installation with my dad. That led me to work in 38 states, but I got tired of traveling so much. I completed my first bathroom remodel at 18 years old and instantly got hooked, as it was way more rewarding seeing a homeowner’s ecstatic reaction to how it turned out. I began to work on getting into more residential work from that point on.” The name Qbaum Remodeling originated from Koale using the first letter and the last four letters of his last name.
Business was going very well when Koale unexpectedly got into a life-threatening motorcycle accident at 22, leaving him on life support. “From then on, I vowed that if I made it out of that hospital, I would work even harder and leave a legacy for myself,” adds Koale. “Since then, I have done hundreds of bathroom and home remodels and my business continues to grow and flourish. I have now been in business for myself full-time for 7 years, and I’ve even had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names out there for commercial remodeling, including Texas Roadhouse, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Arby’s, Cheddar’s, and LA Fitness. I’ve laid tile and tackled jobs in over 36 states. While my heart lies in bathroom and kitchen remodels, we do all types of home remodeling. No job is too big or too small.” In addition to the legacy he has built with his business, Koale is also the proud father of two beautiful children, Wyatt (3) and Merlin Quattlebaum (2).
“What makes us stand out in this industry is our dedication to quality service and my personal involvement in each project,” Koale continues. “When I sell you on a job, I’m selling me and my crew, not just my company and a random crew that I send out. I will personally be hands-on with each remodel and project, making sure the job is completed the right way. At Qbaum, we also offer a 5-year labor warranty on all work performed by us. Most companies only offer up to 1 year.”
In addition to Koale, Qbaum has 2 full-time employees and a handful of amazing subs that work on an as needed basis. Koale does have plans to expand the business in the coming years to meet the demand.
“This my passion and my legacy,” Koale concludes. “We take a lot of pride in the work that we produce, so let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work!” To schedule your next remodel with Qbaum Remodeling, visit their website at www.qbaumremodeling.com.
