Wilhoit Gas Company was founded by two brothers, Wirt and Judson Wilhoit. Over the years, the company has undergone several expansions, acquisitions, and moves, eventually setting up shop in Greensboro, GA. Ownership passed down from Wirt and Judson to Wirt’s daughter, Beth, who recently retired, passing the torch to her son, Bill.

Alan Landrum, a longtime employee of Wilhoit Gas has also taken on a new role as Bill's business partner. Alan is instrumental in the daily operations of the company and brings 30+ years’ experience to the company.

Most recently, Wilhoit Gas opened a brand-new office downtown at 214 E Broad Street with a 2nd showroom to complement their Lake Country Hearth & Patio showroom in the Publix complex. Wilhoit has also expanded their delivery area to Baldwin County and implemented the use of state-of-the-art wireless monitors, which allow clients to track propane usage from their mobile devices.
