This month, Stroll Inside the Gates recognizes A&M Holmes Landscape LLC, which provides Georgia’s Lake Country and the surrounding communities with exceptional lawn care services. A&M Holmes specializes in regular lawn care and maintenance (such as mowing, weedeating, edging, blowing, and hedge trimming), as well as installation of pine straw, mulch, and river rocks.
A&M Holmes is owned and operated by Angelo and Morgan Holmes. “I have been in the landscaping profession since 2004,” recounts Angelo. “My brother and I initially started the business as Holmes Landscaping, but once he passed away in 2014, I fell out of love with it. Now, having a family, my wife Morgan and I decided that starting our own business was the best thing for us. We LOVE helping others and their properties, and we ensure each client’s residential or commercial property is maintained as if it were our own home. We also make sure to ALWAYS provide due respect and professionalism to everyone! Our company moto is to always be ‘A Step Above The Rest’”.
A&M is local and family-owned, run solely by Angelo and Morgan, though they do have plans to expand the business and add additional employees in the coming years. Outside of A&M, Angelo and Morgan home-school their son, placing a strong emphasis on teaching him entrepreneurship. Angelo adds, “We want him to understand that working hard for the things you want in life will get you a long way.” Angelo also helps mentor two high school seniors, and he always encourages them to continue to move forward to pursue diligence and success in their careers and in life.
